The Alliance had a very positive Arts Education Advocacy Day at the statehouse in Des Moines on January 17, 2018. We had a great group of high school students from the Quad Cities. Our presentation to the Senate Education Committee was well received. The legislators seemed very supportive of continuing funding for the mentoring program.
