Deadline for public input on arts standards is May 12th

The deadline for public input on the arts standards for the state of Iowa is Friday May, 12th.  Please spread the word and remind your organization membership, colleagues and other arts advocates to participate.
The following is a message from Angela Matsuoka, Fine Arts Consultant at the Iowa Department of Education:
“Thanks to all those who attended and helped with the forums last week!  We’ve recorded all the comments and will review them, along with the survey results, as a team during our next meeting on the 18th.
In regards to the survey, we are now at roughly 1250 responses.  Please continue to push the survey through any and all networks!  We had a great initial response, but we are at a bit of a lull at the moment – to be expected with any survey out for a month -so we would love some strong numbers as we move into the final week.  The survey will be open until May 12th.”
